LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities say comedian Kevin Hart has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after his black Mercedes nearly collided with a tanker truck on a Southern California freeway.
California Highway Patrol Officer Ed Jacobs says Hart appeared intoxicated when he was pulled over before dawn Sunday on Highway 101 in Los Angeles.
Hart failed a field sobriety test and was booked for misdemeanor DUI. He was held on a $5,000 bond.
Jacobs says the Mercedes was being driven erratically at over 90 mph and nearly slammed into a gas tanker.
A female passenger in Hart’s car was sent home in a taxi.
Hart starred in the 2011 stand-up special Laugh At My Pain and has appeared in TV’s Undeclared and in several movies.
A call to a spokesperson for Hart was not immediately returned.

MyNetworkTV has green lighted “The Tony Rock Project,” a comedy reality series starring the comedian brother of Chris Rock.
The series, from Langley Prods. and C to the B Prods., is scheduled to premiere in the fall 2008, airing at 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
The half-hour program features the humor of Tony Rock, younger brother of Chris, as he observes the hilarious habits of regular people. Through man-on-the-street style interviews and hidden-camera segments, Rock uses his comedic style to expose some of society’s stereotypes, hang-ups and prejudices.
“Tony’s charming personality, quick-witted comedy and cutting-edge social commentary makes the program a perfect addition to our Wednesday night comedy block,” MyNet president Greg Meidel said.
Exec producers are John and Morgan Langley and Claude Brooks.
MyNet’s lineup also includes Langley’s “Jail” and “Street Patrol” and C to the B’s and Qtopia Entertainment’s sitcom “Under One Roof” starring Flavor Flav.

Charlie Murphy?

Ok, so my husband doesn’t believe that Charlie Murphy is actually Eddie Murphy’s brother. There is a spot on the Dave Chappelle Show called “Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Stories”…very funny. He thinks that “Charlie Murphy” is just some actor who they hired, and the stories are just made up. They play it off like it’s real, and I want to believe that it is. Everyone I’ve asked about it (friends, co-workers and such) agree with me. What do you think?
Thanks guys…I love being right 🙂 When it comes to my hubby anyway…

Next time Chris Rock insults white people, will he be compelled to apologize before a representative sample?

I just want to make sure I understand the rules. When do minorities have to apologize for trashing whites?
Regarding the representative sample: He was armtwisted into apologizing to the actual women he insulted. Rather than having Mr. Rock meet with every last white person, I thought that it would be more logistically feasible to have a representative sample.

P1ZZ4 Guy Fad 2

User BTape started the P1ZZ4 Guy fad in early January of 2007. Several of them were popular, making top viewed and having good ratings overall. The new P1ZZ4 Guy sites since have been quite successful as well. The P1ZZ4 Guy fad became really popular when sark76 donated $17.18 to a popular P1ZZ4 Guy site that was on top viewed, boosting its popularity further. The fad generally involves a Pizza Hut delivery guy with weird creatures (like the Domino’s Pizza Noid) and a sound clip of comedian Donnell Rawlings saying “WHOA! He stole that guy’s PIZZAS!” in Spider-Man 2. Rawlings is known as the “WHOA Guy” in the fad. In addition, two notes which can be heard at the very end of the clip are collectively referred to as “chord” and used for subtle comedic effect. The sounds used for the remixes come from this classic style site by State-of-Mind, containing Rawlings’ scene from the movie.
