Chris Rock

Recently a black tow truck driver was awarded $7500 when he sued a Arkansas police officer for using the “N” word and violating his civil rights.

Just last night I turned on the t.v and comedian Chris Rock was saying… cracker this honkey that.
Can I sue him? I bet he has alot more money than the police officer in Arkansas.

Just wondering is they are also MY civil rights as a white man?
“Whites arent discriminated against” What??

Go walk thru Watts, CA sometime as a white person.

Ok, so he is a entertainer. white entertainers dont use racial slurs against blacks so why is it ok for black entertainers to use slurs against whites?

Go ahead. You just need a good lawyer, since he’ll probably get a good one.

    Get in line.

I don’t mind being called a honkey even if it is by a black person. I really don’t take offense to that. I use to laugh when George Jefferson would say it. But I know african american people do get offended when you use the N word, and they should. It’s a lot worse than saying honkey. The N word stands for a lot worse than honkey. There are lots worse words to be called. NO person should ever call a black person the N word, its very offensive. I don’t think I could ever use that word unless I was being physically harmed by a black person, then I’d still have to think about if I really wanted to use that word. I would certainly never go around calling a person that. I like Chris Rock, I think he’s funny, he can call me a honkey anytime. I’ve got lots worse problems (like making ends meet) than being called a honkey. I don’t even mind being called Whitie.

If you want to sue someone , this is not the place to do it. See a lawyer .

no. he was doing it as a joke, not intending to offend anyone. if he did it to insult you, sure.

he’s not saying it to you, you can change the channel if you want. and it’s comedy, he’s not even being serious. even if he was serious, you still couldn’t sue him. only if he said YOUR name attached to something racial, then you might have a case

It isnt the whites that suffer racism as a norm at all. Its the minorities that do. I am white and I know about it, I hear it behind closed doors. I have heard all kinds of horrible racism against different minorities. So if you want go ahead over a silly name go ahead. But I am sure you will be laughed totally out of court. Plus I remember your name you usually are saying horrific things against blacks. We have crossed paths before. You love to hurt others.

I think Chris Rock is funny wasn’t he in a movie with Jackie Chan, Rush Hour? He was so funny! I’m not offended. I don’t think he really feels that way, he’s just a comedienne.
